Born in Toulouse, France, Romain Ferran has lived in Montreal since 2003. Long fascinated by stories that challenge our perception of the world, he has spent many years balancing his passion for information technology with his love of writing.
The Sapphire’s Memory, his debut novel, is a story that has been with him since his teenage years. First conceived in France, it evolved over the years and through different stages of his life before becoming the published novel it is today.
Through his writing, Romain Ferran explores memory, time, and the boundary between the visible and the invisible, with a particular fondness for stories in which each discovery challenges our perception of reality.
